At Tooth in Stone Dentistry, your comfort is our priority. We invite you to enjoy our beverage bar, featuring coffee and herbal tea, before your appointment. Each of our patient suites is equipped with Roku for your entertainment, along with cozy amenities such as weighted blankets and warm, scented hand towels to help you relax and refresh. For patients who need additional support, we also offer laughing gas and oral sedation to ensure a calm and comfortable dental experience. For our pediatric patients, prize machines and toys help make every visit fun and memorable.
The “S” word
We don’t like to use the word “shot” around our office because we know this can be a true source of fear and anxiety for all patients. Luckily, we have invested in innovative devices such as the Dental Vibe™, Practicon’s Dental Anesthetic Warmer ™, and high strength numbing gel that will ensure your treatment will be the most comfortable experience possible.
What are you doing in the community?
Giving back to our community is an important part of who we are. Over the past three years, we have spent considerable time partnering with local schools and organizations to promote oral health education and career awareness. We regularly visit elementary schools, including McNeill Elementary, to teach children the importance of good oral hygiene, participate in Children’s Dental Health Month, attend career days, and take part in community events such as trunk-or-treats. We have also visited retirement communities, including Ivy Point and Oak Park, to educate elderly residents on maintaining their oral health. In addition, we speak at middle schools and high schools—most notably Harmony High School—to introduce students to careers in dentistry. We also welcome students into our practice for job shadowing opportunities, helping inspire the next generation while serving our community in meaningful ways.
